Key House Committees Advance Obamacare Replacement

Key House Committees Advance Obamacare Replacement

Washington, D.C.– Congressman David B. McKinley, P.E. (WV-1) released the following statement after the American Health Care Act, the House replacement to Obamacare, was passed by the Energy and Commerce Committee and Ways and Means Committee.

“Today we took an important step to providing more American families with access to affordable and quality healthcare coverage. This bill will continue to be modified as it makes its way through the relevant Committees in an open and transparent process so the public can see what is in it before it is passed,” said McKinley.

“I’d like to thank Chairmen Walden and Brady for their work on this issue and I look forward to continuing our work to make quality healthcare coverage available to more people,” McKinley said.

Background
