U.S. Rep. David McKinley, R-W.Va., was in Wood County on Tuesday to meet with constituents and attend a 10-year celebration of Hino Motors in Williamstown.
U.S. Rep. David McKinley, R-W.Va., was in Wood County on Tuesday to meet with constituents and attend a 10-year celebration of Hino Motors in Williamstown. McKinley also met with the Parkersburg Marietta Contractors Association and the Wood County Senior Citizens Association. The Hino Motors truck assembly plant on West Virginia 14 opened in August 2007. The plant employs 300 people and initially employed 75 workers. McKinley said it was exciting to celebrate the company’s commitment. “Each time I’ve visited the Williamstown facility I’ve walked away impressed by the professionalism and quality of the employees,” McKinley said. “West Virginia is not typically recognized as a center of automotive manufacturing, but the success of the Hino Motors plant is putting us on the map.” To read the full article, click here. |
