McKinley Announces Funding for Boggs Run Volunteer Fire Department

Washington, D.C. – Congressman David B. McKinley, P.E. (WV-1) announced that the Boggs Run Volunteer Fire Department in Marshall County will receive a grant for $8,381 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA's) Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG). These funds are designed to help strengthen operations and safety.

(WV-1) announced that the Boggs Run Volunteer Fire Department in Marshall County will receive a grant for $8,381 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA’s) Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG).  These funds are designed to help strengthen operations and safety.

“Volunteer firefighters constantly put the wellbeing of their community and their neighbors before themselves. Since they are willing to sacrifice so much on our behalf it is important they are well equipped and ready to complete their mission. This grant will help bring resources to the Boggs Run Volunteer Fire Department to help ensure the safety of local residents,” said McKinley.
